Solishtiring:

Pul hamma narsa emas. (= umumiy olganda barcha pullar)

I enjoy reading books.

Menga kitoblarni o’qish yoqadi.

Everybody needs friends.

Hammaga do’stlar kerak.

• the children / the money / these books etc. :

Where are the children? (= our children)

Bolalar qayerda? (=bizning bolalar)

I want to buy a car, but I don’t have the money. (= the money for a car)

Men mashina sotib olishni hohlayman, ammo menda pul yo’q. (= mashina uchun pul)

Bu kitoblarni o’qiganmisan?

I often go out with my friends.

Men tez-tez do’stlarim bilan dam olgani chiqaman.

• most/some va hokazo + noun(ot) qo’llanishi:

Most children like playing. (= children in general)

Ko’p bolalar o’ynashni yoqtirishadi. (= umumiy olganda barcha bolalar)

I don’t want any money.

Men hech qanday pul hohlamayman.

Some books are better than others.

Ba’zi kitoblar boshqalariga qaraganda yaxshiroq.

Unda do’stlar yo’q.

All cities have the same problems. (= cities in general)

Barcha shaharlarda bir xil muammolar bor. (= umumiy olganda hamma shaharlar)

• Ushbu gaplarda of dan foydalanilmaydi:

Most people drive too fast. (not Most of people)

Ko’p odamlar juda tez haydashadi. (Most of people emas)

Some birds can’t fly. (not Some of birds)

Ba’zi qushlar ucha olmaydi. (Some of birds emas)

Most of the children at this school are under 11 years old.

Maktabdagi bolalarning ko’pi 1 yoshdan past b’ladi.

I don’t want any of this money.

Amy has lived in London all her life. (or… all of her life.)

Amy butun hayotini Londonda yashadi. (yoki … hayoting hammasini …)

• all of it / most of them / none of us va hokazo.

You can have some of this cake, but not all of it.

Exercise 1. Gaplarni to’ldiring. Qavs ichidagi so’zdan foydalaning (some/most va hokazo). Ba’zida sizga of (some of/most of va hokazo) kerak bo’ladi.
